We started Surge AI in 2020 to fix the problems we always encountered with getting high-quality, human-labeled data. Our team spent years at leading tech companies, where we learned that data is the biggest blocker to unlocking the incredible promise of AI. Building AI is hard. Making it expressive, powerful, and safe is incredibly hard. Without high quality data at massive scale, it’s impossible.
We’re incredibly proud to work with the best AI companies in the world. The news that Scale is joining forces with only one company could have a significant impact on the work many of these companies are doing.
We want to reassure all our clients – both current and future – that our focus remains squarely on meeting their needs. We became the biggest company in this space by helping our customers build amazing models, not by prioritizing publicity and hype, and we won’t change our approach.
